Our Story

Grassroots is a family owned and operated feed, seed, and farm store. We are Todd and Kari Madden and we bought the store in the fall of 2019 and operate it with our son’s Seth & Kace. The store was started in the early 1970’s, and was commonly referred to as “The Feed & Seed Store” focusing on seed, seed cleaning, and feed for farming operations. In the 30+ years the store has been in operation; it has always been a local family business.

With the decline in need to clean seed for farmers we had to transition the store to focusing on the smaller family farm operations, small ranching, agriculture related projects for youth in organizations such as 4-H and FFA. Today we see more wanting to focus on a simpler & more self-sustaining way of life through better land management or gardening. We are here to help you with your agriculture related projects!

We supply numerous brands of livestock feed (bulk & bagged), show products, supplements, pet feed, bedding, hay, animal health & vet care products. We have seed and products for farming as well as gardening, wildlife plots, pond management & even food for the fish! We strive to source locally, Oklahoma owned, and made in the U.S.A. products.

We are proud supporters of local 4-H & FFA chapters, the Washington Masonic Lodge #406, and other community charities or events as we are able. As we strive to grow and expand our business we know that is not possible without you! We appreciate all of our customers and your choice to shop locally with us!
